We are delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Caine as the new General Manager of our On Demand division.
Gavin has an extensive background in specialist recruitment, project management and leadership, with over 20 years of industry experience. Gavin entered the recruitment industry in 1999 after several years working across mining and FMCG sectors. One of his first major assignments was to run a specialist contract for a major telecommunications client, equipping him with strong skills in staff rostering, performance management, logistics and targeted recruitment for niche IT roles.
Following this initial success, Gavin quickly climbed the ranks to become the National Manager and then General Manager of one of Australia’s largest recruitment agencies. Over the next fifteen years, he successfully grew a team of 87 staff to 1,100 nationally and contributed to significant operational successes including:
In 2019, Gavin was approached to join another large recruitment agency as Commercial Pricing Manager across Australia and New Zealand. Soon after, he transitioned into the role of Director of Strategic Account Operations after taking part in a whole-of-business process review. In this position, Gavin led a new business division responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships with major local and international technology and financial services clients.
Gavin is a proven leader of people. He has a strong reputation for improving business inefficiencies by streamlining operational functions, empowering staff, building networks, targeting business growth pathways, implementing new tools, systems, processes and procedures that drive business success.
