APS 4 Policy Officer

Our client is seeking an APS4 Policy Officer to provide broad administrative support on the day to day management and coordination of Fraud policies and associated documentation. This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a range of business outcomes across the Agency towards a full scheme rollout.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and update fraud related documentation, including policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain the fraud and compliance document control register, including preparation and distribution of compliance reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and instruction to team staff in relationship to document control policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to improved document process flows and systems.
  • Undertake research and inquires for the Fraud teams and prepare associated reports and correspondence.
  • Assist with the provision of tools and information to staff to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare and circulate meeting documentation, including meeting Agenda’s and Minutes.
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of fraud related functions, such as procurement, invoicing and document management.
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Qualifications in relation to Fraud Control (e.g. Certificate IV in Government Fraud Control) or equivalent. Government fraud qualification must be attained within 12 months of commencing in the role if the successful candidate does not hold the qualification upon commencement.
  • Experience providing document management and document control administration services, preferably within a public sector environment.
  • Relevant tertiary education qualifications or work experience in fraud, risk or compliance functions.
  • Have an understanding of or lived experience in disability.
You must be an Australian Citizen with the willingness to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance to apply.
