APS 5 Fraud Control Officer

  • Manage the business’s fraud risk register; reporting key findings, observations and risks
  • Maintain an evidence based and control based program of work throughout the Agency
  • Work with the team on fraud risk assessments and reviews and identify
  • Undertaking fraud risk assessments and reviews to identify areas of fraud risk and help to initiate risk mitigation initiatives
  • Gather information from sources and systems and suggest control improvement strategies
  • Other duties as required
  • Minimum relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in risk management/ideally fraud risk management
  • Qualifications in relation to Fraud Control, such as Certificate IV in Government (Fraud Control) or Diploma of Government (Fraud Control)
  • Experience having undertaken a similar role in Government incorporating fraud risk
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum baseline security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance
