APS 6 Assistant Business Manager

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
  • Processing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling contract payments to ensure they adhere to budget
  • Reconciliation of monthly accounts
  • Other financial duties as required
Contract Management:
  • Ensuring contracts are in line with Government Procurement Guidelines
  • Preparation of tender documentation and contracts
  • Drafting the procurement plan
  • Monitoring of payments against contracts
Information Management:
  • Managing the ChangePoint system and conducting periodic reviews of information
  • Reviewing and maintaining the workforce plan
Practice Management:
  • Organising workstations, computers and telephones for all new starters
  • Liaising with building services on all maintenance issues.

Your background:
  • Experience in finance administration
  • Experience in project management
  • Australian citizenship – baseline security clearance an advantage but not necessary
  • Demonstrated commitment to a team
  • Excellent communication skills
