APS 6 Fraud Control Officer

  • Take a leading role within a team in delivering fraud control arrangements and responsibilities; whilst providing partnership and support across the Agency
  • Working across the branch and with Agency stakeholders to maintain a robust fraud prevention and control program of work
  • Report observations, findings and trends, as well as emerging risks to committees and leadership
  • Undertaking fraud risk assessments and review to identify areas of fraud risk
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and management of fraud risk
  • Project management of activities relating to the fraud prevention and control function of the Agency
  • Other duties as required
  • Minimum relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in risk management/ideally fraud risk management
  • An awareness of contemporary issues in this arena
  • Experience having undertaken a similar role in Government incorporating fraud risk
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum baseline security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance
