APS5 Project Officer

Our client is seeking a Project Officer to provide support by preparing documentation, undertaking research, analysis and project work at a complex level. This role is vital in achieving business outcomes to deliver high quality customer service and support the implementation of identified strategic priorities at the operational and tactical levels.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the section to develop and produce identity fraud cases for analysis and investigation
  • The ability to conduct research, collate data, interpret and analyse data from several different sources to develop reports and strategies on identity management and identity fraud
  • Assist with the preparation of briefings and communication materials to ensure the effective planning and delivery of projects
  • Support the Branch to plan, manage and deliver effective prevention and detection strategies in relation to identity fraud
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated tactical intelligence analysis skills
  • Quality report writing, skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Sound information gathering and decision-making skills and an ability to think logically.
  • Ability to analyse multiple sources of information to identify risk
  • Accurate and concise written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in progressing in the field of Intelligence
  • Self-starter, can use initiative to undertake research when there is a knowledge gap
The successful candidate will be required to currently hold or be able to obtain (and maintain) a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
