Assistant Account Executive

Due to ongoing business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Account Executive to join this successful, CBD-based brokerage. Assisting with the management of a large portfolio that includes PI & Liability schemes for key clients and a varied book of SME/Commercial clients, the position would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience in a broking support role and is looking to be a part of a dynamic business that can help them grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to business growth by providing exceptional support to Account Executives
  • Processing renewals, endorsements and cancellations with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Issuing Certificates of Currency
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Assistance with client enquiries and directing where needed
  • Liaising and building relationships with underwriters 
  • Ad hoc administrative assistance
About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably with a brokerage
  • Tier 1 qualifications & tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Customer-focused, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
  • High degree of initiative and a proactive approach
  • Genuine passion for furthering your career in the insurance industry
  • Excellent organisation and time management
