Broker Assistant

Our client is a large insurance brokerage with a global presence, and they now have multiple openings for qualified Assistant Account Executives to join a growing team. Ideal candidates will be Tier 1-qualified with proven experience in the General Insurance sector, as well as a good understanding of a broking environment. These roles will see you providing high-level support to a high-performing team of Account Brokers, specialising in Corporate & Commercial products. They offer a dynamic and supportive culture, with various avenues for career progression, including: Broking, Account Managements, Operations and Claims.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Tier 1 qualifications essential
  • Previous General Insurance experience, preferrably within brokerage
  • Excellent technical and product knowledge
  • Client-focused, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong administrator, with immaculate attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven experience in an insurance support role, e.g. claims, broking support, an advantage
  • Good understanding of systems and processes
  • Experience using WinBEAT/Sunrise desirable
