Details of the role:
  • Reporting to the Team Lead, Program Management
  • Providing hands-on business analysis work to agile and waterfall projects
  • Leading functional and non-functional requirements elicitation, analysis and validation, and verification, ensuring that requirement statements and business rules are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
  • Facilitating information gathering for solution design and gaining review and approval of the design documentation
  • Reviewing functional and technical requirements with vendors and development teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and can be successfully delivered
  • Planning and executing system testing and integration testing in conjunction with business SMEs and OCMS BAU teams
  • Producing/updating new/existing documents as required including, but not limited to, business requirements, traceability matrices, business cases, and test cases as well as processes and procedures
  • Initial 10 months engagement – strong likelihood of extension
  • Flexible working arrangements from a mature and trusting team/manager
  • Reporting to a manager with a track record of supporting all staff within a professional environment
  • Approx. rate of $650 p/d (+ Super)
 
Prerequisites:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or significant proven experience, relevant to this discipline
  • BABOK certification (desirable)
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and testing
  • Understanding and experience of business analysis and SDLC methodologies
  • Exposure to various project management frameworks including Agile, Waterfall etc
  • Proven customer engagement skills, including the ability to proactively resolve issues and increase customer satisfaction
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills to ensure effective communication with all levels of the business, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and influentially
  • Demonstrable investigative and research skills and well developed conceptual and analytical skills
