Civil Business Development/Account Manager

Purpose of role:
 
Civil Business Development/Account Manager your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage a portfolio of key clients and customers within the Civil market and to sell and promote the company’s products and engineering/ installation services by generating leads, responding to leads and drive sales by delivering on company’s business strategy.

Australian owned company who has been working in the NSW market since 1977. From humble beginnings the company has become a leading structural walling solutions firm for the building and construction sector. Their products have been evaluated & certified by Universities and the CSIRO.
 
 
About you: 
 
  • Background in the Water sector in Australia with strong contacts within this sector to leverage from.(Preferred)
  • You will have a passion to outperform competitors by delivering outstanding service to customers while building strong customer relationships throughout all levels and participate in activities that are consistent with the company.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of contracting within Civil Engineering industry
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Bachelor Degree (Civil Engineering) – preferred
  • 10 years plus experience in similar or comparative role in Australia – Role may suit a Project Manager currently working in the Water/Waste Water sector
  • Must have a current full Australian Drivers licence.
 
 
Duties and Key Result areas:
 
  • Commercial development by building a portfolio of civil engagements in specific markets, including public, government, private etc. or as appropriate for company’s engagement strategy
  • Assist with project work plan development and execution
  • Drive forward the revenue pipeline with DINCEL products to maximise opportunities that deliver return on investment and future revenue. You will be required to submit a business plan for the civil market to CEO
  • Assist the National BDM/National Sales and Marketing Manager as and when required.
  • Tracks project schedule, budget and costs to ensure progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
  • Assist with client’s contracts and communications pertaining to specific assignment or meetings
  • Ensure quality system responsibilities as defined in the quality manual and quality procedures are compiled to. Incorporate the concepts central to Total Quality Management and ISO 9001-2008, when developing proposals or procedures.
  • Prepare and present individual weekly sales report which is to incorporate your daily activities to inform the Company who and why you meet with your contacts. Refer standard company reporting format. (This is required for accountability purposes)
  • Provide Monthly Sales reports for the state to be included in the Monthly board reporting pack.
  • Attend and participate in Sales Meeting and any other internal meetings deemed necessary
