Client Services Manager / BDM - IT / Telco Industry

An opportunity has become available for an Account Manager / BDM to build their career with a global provider of telecommunications services, located in the heart of Sydney's CBD.

Leveraging on extensive global network coverage, this company offers reliable end-to-end global integrated telecommunication services and solutions, including global connectivity services, global internet access, ICT services, cloud, Internet of things (IoT), video conferencing, unified communications, content and security services, and provides personal customers with premium voice and mobility services.

 On Offer
  • 6 months contract, with a view to go permanent after that
  • CBD location, walking distance from the train station
  • $35 per hour + Super (salary nego on experience)
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

  • Established Small Sales team
  • Develop and grow the local Australian market
  • Build strong business relationships – Banks, Airlines
  • Seek new business opportunities and account manage current client in AU and Internationally
  • Achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Identify strategic opportunities
  • Resolve customer complaints - investigate problems, develop solutions, prepare reports, and make recommendations
  • Work towards collective targets (team work)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Keep up to date in the market, i.e. attend relevant events and provide feedback
  • Monitor the market and competition - maintain information on pricing, products, techniques etc.
The candidate requirements:
  • Exceptional communications skills
  • MUST have recent BDM experience working with Tier 1 and larger clients
  • Mandarin Speaking Language is an advantage not essential
  • ICT Project Infrastructure industry experience a MUST
  • Able to have knowledge and understanding of Data Services - Hardware, Software, IT Support, ICT Projects a MUST
  • Able to work autonomously but also be a team player
  • Eager to build a career in sales
  • Professional and driven
  • Someone who is ready to learn and hit the ground running
