ENMP NDC Storeperson

NDC Store person – Government Owned organisation – Australian Citizenship required.

As an NDC Store person (ENMP) you will provide stock and inventory services in support of the National Distribution Centre (NDC) located in Melbourne supporting projects in ensuring the operational safety and integrity of the National clients System. The National Distribution Centre in Melbourne is a key facility to ensure supply and inventory management of critical spares in support of the clients systems, capital projects and external clients. Northern suburbs location.

Position and skills required:
  • Stock issues/returns, including SAP inventory transactions.
  • The sourcing, purchasing and logistics administration of materials in support of maintenance tasks, including generating purchase orders.
  • Package/dispatch, receipt/unpack NDC stock
  • Undertake general warehouse duties as directed.
  • Receive project items into NDC, put in project stock, and advise project when arrived.
  • Attend project meetings to gauge future delivery/transport requirements.
  • Pick materials for each site according to project bill of materials (BoM) and ship to site.
  • Advise project when items are shipped off and provide consignment note details.
  • Conduct stocktakes for project stock including cables.
  • Advise project of when stock count is low for a particular item.
  • Make room for project stock in NDC
  • Assist with pre-staging of hardware in NDC with Nokia
  • Assist with ad-hoc request including but not limited to checking serial numbers
  • Deliver project materials to SGS for test and then later accept back into NDC for future despatch.
  • As required, assist in urgent purchases from local suppliers, including collection
  • Current Australian driver’s license.
  • Current forklift operator’s license
  • Apply a knowledge and understanding of the equipment, policies, procedures, instructions, and other relevant documentation, appropriate to the position.
  • Relevant warehousing qualification such as certificate II in warehousing operations
