Electrical Fitter Service Technician

Currently our Engineering and Construction division is seeking a talented Electrical Fitter / Service Technician for our client, covering Sydney Metro based FMCG, Food & Beverage, Meat Industry clients.

This is a home based role and the successful applicate will be given all the tools to complete the tasks required included Service vehicle, Laptop, Mobile phone etc. 

Our client is leader in design, manufacturing, service and sales of packaging equipment and offers a high standard of technical expertise and engineering capability to their customers.


To liaise with existing customers to maintain and develop further relations undertaking routine maintenance of company machines with the view to include machinery not manufactured by client, currently on site and under an agreed scheduled maintenance contract . 

Reporting to:

Service Technician will have support provided by Sydney sales manager to meet all existing customers and be accompanied by him to site to meet potential new customers where discussions on how we can service them in regards to maintenance can be had and contracts drafted up for a return visit for sign off (All maintenance contracts will be drafted in Brisbane).

Ideal person /Skills:

  • Will be electrically qualified (Electrical fitter) with their license still current, 
  • A trade certificate, with demonstrated experience and ability.
  • Be able to demonstrated fault finding ability and problem solving
  • Current drivers license and open to a medical and police background check. 
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry and a maintenance background would go along way!
  • Other tickets or qualifications such as EWP, forklift and working at heights is of a great advantage!


  • You will report regularly to the Brisbane based service manager updating him on developments with customers and any requirements for service based activities. 
  • An ability to work autonomously and writing service reports about any site visits or breakdowns will be need to be done and accurate time keeping will be necessary on a weekly basis and part of the pay conditions.
