Facilities Management Contracts Specialist

Ignite is a current supplier of contract and permanent staff to the Utilities, Engineering, and Local Government sectors across Perth and Western Australia.

We are partnered with a well-known Perth CBD based organisation, and are assisting them with the recruitment of a Facilities Management Contracts Specialist.

If you have experience managing new and existing contracts, specifically within the Facilities Management category, and are seeking a new challenge this could be the role for you.
This is a contract role, initially for 3 months with the possibility of being extended towards the end of the year.  A competitive hourly rate is on offer.
As the new Facilities Management Contracts Specialist, you’ll be working in a centralised Contracts Management team. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver sustainable, commercially sound and acceptable contracts
  • Working closely with end users at the company’s head office and other locations across the state regarding all facilities contracts.
  • Assist in improving overall risk management, procurement and corporate governance in all commercial arrangements
  • Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives and management of a portfolio of multi-year outsourcing engagements and panel contracts
  • Contributing to overall development and maintenance of facilities sourcing strategy
  • Explore and implement contract incentive mechanisms
  • Providing advise to business end users and acting as a mentor to others within the team.
In terms of your background, you’ll have extensive experience managing facilities services contracts and developing sourcing strategies.

You’ll have exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and will be able to work closely with suppliers and end users within the business. 
You’ll be degree qualified and have strong commercial acumen.
