Feature Team Lead - ServiceNow

A large Australian corporate seeks to hire a ServiceNow Feature Team Lead for an implementation program. Based in Melbourne’s CBD, this is an initial 6 month contract which may extend.
 
The successful applicant will be:
  • Providing technical expertise to set the technical direction and manage issues, technical integration and technical service levels for a group of technologies.
  • Leading a feature team of 5-6 developers
  • Reviewing system performance and consumption issues
  • Reviewing test plans and provide technical guidance and support to others
  • Promoting CI/CD practices in the ServiceNow feature teams
  • Improving Customer Service (via technology engineering best practice)
  • Mentoring, educating and coaching junior team members in the functional design of Servicenow Platform.
 
The successful applicant will have:
  • 10 + years of experience in support and development of ITSM platforms with a passion for software development along with DevOps exposure. 
  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML and XML.
  • Exposure to Microservices / PCF and APIGEE platform
  • Administration of domain separated ServiceNow instances including the modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions.
  • Expertise in advanced ServiceNow development activities in Domain Separated environment including Scripted REST, Service Portal, Jelly, Processors, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.
  • Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS, backbone.js, Node.js, jQuery, Prototype
  • Ability to develop integrations to third party systems/applications (such as LDAP, Active Directory, APIGEE, Single Sign On, CRM, JIRA) using web services and other integration method
  • Experience working within an agile SDLC environment, utilizing scrum-based projects and user stories to define and work development tasks.
  • Experience in Selenium and Bit bucket (desirable).
