Federal Government Project Officer (Disability)

The Opportunity
 
As a Project Officer for the Insurance Support program, your role will be to plan, document and oversee all aspects of the project, including monitoring and managing progress reporting. You will work closely with the Project Manager and staff to ensure that the scope and direction of each project, and stream of work within the program, is on schedule and effectively managed.
 
Your Responsibilities will include
 
  • Supporting the Project Manager in scoping, development, implementation, monitoring and reporting the project
  • Leading the team in working within the Agency program management framework
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, including the project management plan, project schedules and completing performance reports
  • Providing oversight of project activities to ensure that deliverables remain on schedule 
  • Building and managing collaborative relationships with National Office work groups, regions, and external stakeholders to support effective project management.
 
The Project Officer will engage with a variety of stakeholders in order to progress and achieve program outcomes.

**Entry Level security checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role, a working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may also need to be undertaken as per legislation.
