Information Management Team Leader

Our client located in Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs has a diverse and multicultural community. They are seeking an Information Management Team Leader to join their team for a 6-month contract.

In this position you will be required to support the delivery of high-level effective information services to the Council.
A key responsibility will be supervising the provision Information Management Service operations, including team supervision. You will also be required to:
  • Plan & implement business process changes and contribute to and support business transformation projects.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and act as a mentor and leader to team members.
  • Provide appropriate induction and safety information to new information management team members and maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Undertake reasonable other duties as directed by the Information Management Coordinator including providing short term coverage for the Coordinator if required.
  • Provide first and second level support for EDRMS (HP Records Manager 8.3) and software components.
  • Perform routine EDRMS monitoring and system administration maintenance activities, including but not limited to record and location maintenance, classification and disposal schedules maintenance, monitoring security controls and reporting, data quality checks and cleansing.
  • Provide technical support and advice to ensure Council’s core information management applications adhere to best practice information management principles
To be considered for this position you must have:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or a lesser qualification, and/or relevant experience working in the information management field.
  • Experience supervising in a records/information management environment preferably with an enterprise-wide information management system.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in implementing information management practice that ensure legislative compliance.
  • Strong experience in HP Records Manager (HPRM/TRIM) administration and application management
