Investigations Officer - APS5

Our client is seeking an Investigation Officer to provide assistance in undertaking investigations of potential fraud, unauthorized access, non-compliance, misconduct and criminal offences committed against the Agency. This role is vital in supporting the Taskforce with quality assurance activities, project work and administrative tasks.

Your duties will include, but is not limited to:
  • Analyse, integrate and evaluate information to produce accurate and informative reports for fraud investigation cases
  • Conduct formal and informal discussions with NDIA staff and partners, NDIS participants, providers and third parties to obtain required information
  • Contribute to changes in workplace practices and process improvements
  • Maintain working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Prepare briefs of evidence and obtain information from witnesses
  • Prepare cases for referral to relevant parties such as the Australian Federal Police and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions
  • Provide administrative support for the team and/or work area.
To be considered you must possess qualifications in relation to Fraud Control consistent with the Commonwealth Fraud Control Framework 2017 (e.g. Certificate IV in Government (Fraud Control) or Diploma of Government (Fraud Control) or demonstrated significant experience.

You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at ‘Negative Vetting Level 1’ to apply.
