Duties & Responsibilities
On-site
- Carrying out of hands work over a range of different trades such as demolition, carpentry, tiling, cleaning, painting, plastering etc
- Liaison with client and/or client representative
- Site setup and preparation to ensure trade works are completed in a safe manner such as ensuring all necessary services are disconnect (e.g. smoke detectors)
- Ordering and organising of material, equipment, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Picking up and or taking delivery of material and equipment
- Checking works after completion for defects
- Carry out WH&S, Quality and Environmental requirements on-site
- Quality control
- On-site measuring up and sketching
- Project close out and handover
- Managing and overseeing sub-contractors as needed
- Client relationship management
- Working across multiple sites from time to time
Office
- Assisting the Coordinator and/or the Supervisor with basic administrative tasks
- General project paperwork and close out tasks
- Project set up and preparation
- Archiving
