Performance Specialist - Data Analyst

The Performance Specialist role is responsible for analysing the performance of the Internal Workforce and Service Delivery Partners. This role sits within the Network Engineering and Operations division of nbn and is accountable for operating and maintaining the network from a Service Activation and Service Assurance perspective, in addition to management of all network infrastructure.

This role will focus on the Service Delivery Partners and Internal Workforce daily, weekly and monthly task data to understand and identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery to NBN customers. The Performance Specialist role is a part of a small team based in our regional offices.

A bit about your role

Outlined below are the core duties that the nbn Performance Specialist will be expected to deliver:
  • Undertake data analysis on SDP (Service Delivery Partner) and IWF (Internal Workforce) activation, assurance, remediation tasks on behalf of CFS (Customer Field Services) Field Operations to help identify performance trends and insight to achieve better service outcomes for NBN customers.
  • Contributing to operational Governance at a regional level by driving and escalating performance, quality and other adhoc performance issues relating to SDPs.
  • Promote and drive compliance to NBN processes and assisting on boarding’s with specific SDP at a regional level by adhering to field processes and quality frameworks at a national level.
  • Identifying and driving operational improvements to achieve operational excellence within the CFS region.
A bit about you

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with a contracted workforce supporting continuous improvement and will possess experience in driving quality approach across the contracted workforce.
You will have demonstrated the ability to work in an outcomes-based contract environment supporting operational targets.
In addition, you will have strong stakeholder management experience and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will have knowledge of performance management methods, processes and tools including performance management and improving operational performance with strong data capability utilising MS Excel and other tools.
A strong technical understand of field force work management systems will come in favour.

Finally, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, particularly at a senior level.
You should also be comfortable with change - nbn is a fast moving organisation with a lot of change and new challenges every day.
