Procurement Officer - APS5

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to undertake and lead procurement activities for a national scheme.

Your duties include but are not limited to:
  • Undertake and lead procurement activities
  • Liaise with, and provide expert advice and support to, stakeholders in relation to policies, procedures, systems and documentation to ensure stakeholder requirements are met
  • Work independently to meet work area priorities, manage workflows, provide input to the development of strategies, evaluating business outcomes while keeping key stakeholders informed of issues affecting policy and processes
  • Be accountable for accurate completion of work within tight timeframes and quality requirements
  • Share expertise with others and work collaboratively to achieve business outcomes
  • Actively contribute to the development and on-going review of policies, procedures and guidelines documents
  • Support enterprise wide procurement strategy development and activities, including supply market engagement
To be considered you must have an understanding of the PGPA Act 2013, Commonwealth Procurement Rules and be an Australian Citizen.
