Our client is a Global Leader, and its core focus is to create a world that is more water-secure, more sustainable, more accessible and more affordable for all communities. An opportunity for a passionate Project Manager new exists to join their highly regarded Sydney team located in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.
 
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of water treatment projects across a sales region contributing to the Design, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of standard and turnkey design and construct water treatment projects, ensuring all legal obligations are fulfilled and risks are managed.
 
Responsibilities:   
  • To foster the relationship between the Product Marketing, Applications & Engineering support function and the sales regions.
  • Responsible for the delivery, supervision of installation and commissioning of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget, including monthly reporting of financial and team performance.
  • Responsible for leading a project team in a matrixed environment to deliver a project including sales, design & engineering, supply chain, finance, legal and EHS&S and PM&A.
  • Responsible for projects to be delivered to project management best practices including quality audits as required.
  • Provides advice/support to customers on a range of products to service valid customer requirements.
  • Drives the need for improvements in processes within the Project Delivery team.
 Ideally you will have:
  • Formal qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project management capacity.
  • Water treatment market knowledge.
  • Advanced project and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience negotiating and managing commercial terms and conditions.
  • Experience with customers in a front-line capacity is desirable.
  • Required to travel across Oceania region, predominantly within the region (state/territory) of assignment to support site and project work.
