Project Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Officer to assist the Project Manager by undertaking project coordination functions, including related administrative tasks.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Undertake joint coordination, governance, and administrative activities across the projects in liaison with the Project Manager and Assistant Director
  • Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely and effective communication and co-ordination
  • Assist in the production of reporting relating to the management of project delivery under the overall projects
  • Assist staff with record keeping activities
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience as a Project Officer in the public service
  • Knowledge of Prince 2 framework
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Management / Records Management
  • Demonstrated experience providing highly organised coordination, governance and administrative support
  • Strong liaison and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse information, with an excellent attention to detail
A minimum Baseline security clearance is highly regarded.
