Property and Fleet Officer – 3 days per week

Ignite is a current supplier of contract and permanent staff to the Utilities, Engineering, and Local Government sectors across Perth and Western Australia.
 
We are helping one of our clients source a Property and Fleet Officer for an initial 6 months contract.  This position is a 3 day per week role – with some flexibility over what those 3 days will be.
 
This company is a prominent state-wide corporation based south of Perth in Bentley - close to public transport, with free on-site parking, offering modern facilities for its employees and contractors.

In terms of your background, you’ll have knowledge of property management issues, including property leasing.  Some exposure to fleet services and fleet processes are desired, but not essential, as the role will have a closer focus on property issues.
 
You’ll also have exceptional communication skills and an outgoing attitude towards work.  Your role will involve lots of interaction with different departments, and you’ll be one of the “go-to” people for general property queries.
 
You’ll have strong computer ability, especially in the MS Office suite.  This company uses the Ellipse software system, so some exposure this package is highly regarded, but again not essential.
 
Some of your duties would include:
  • Supporting fleet and facilities procurement and maintenance
  • Providing reception relief as required
  • Ensuring Perth office housekeeping services and maintain a safe working environment so far as is practicable
  • Implementing systems and process to deliver housekeeping services to the Perth office
  • Managing purchases to drive down average cost through effective supplier negotiation/management
  • Ensuring all Perth assets comply with regulations and standards
  • Supporting the delivery of property and facility management and maintenance services to the Perth office
  • Undertaking Perth property inspections as and when required
  • Raising and process purchase orders and invoices and complete all supplier related administration related to Perth properties
  • Responding to any facilities related issues as they arise
