Quality Assurance Officer - APS5

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to undertake quality assurance activities and will work alongside the Intake and Assessment Team Leader to assist in the coaching and development of the staff in the Intake and Assessment team.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Undertake quality assurance activities
  • Provide assistance and support staff through mentoring, development and monitoring performance
  • Assist staff to perform their duties in accordance with relevant legislation, guidelines and authorised process ensuring that up-to-date knowledge and skills are maintained
  • Assist with the assessment of complex cases to make appropriate determinations or referrals
  • Provide administrative support for the team
  • Provide analysis of information to inform investigative reports of potential fraud cases
  • Provide technical support, advice and procedural guidance to staff and stakeholders
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to exercise a degree of independent judgement and make decisions within defined parameters that require some reliance on skills and knowledge
  • Experience working in a Compliance or regulatory function
  • Understanding of the purpose and appropriate application of compliance standards and practices
