Secretariat Support Officer - APS5

Our client is seeking a Secretariat Support Officer to provide logistical and secretariat support to the Agency and the Council, this includes planning, coordination and delivery of Council meetings.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Logistical and secretariat support including ensuring that meeting venues and documents are accessible for persons with disability
  • Coordinate appointment schedules and calendar, plan and schedule meetings, travel and accommodation reservations
  • Work productively with stakeholders to ensure financial and logistical arrangements are monitored and maintained
  • Coordination of papers including regular reports from Branches and Divisions within the Agency
  • Monitoring the implementation and progress of meeting decisions and projects
  • Assist the Secretariat with preparation and distribution of meeting papers consistent with the charter/terms of reference requirements
To be considered you must possess
  • Previous experience working with a public sector Board or Advisory Council and/or a qualification that demonstrates a commitment to high governance standards
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop strong networks
