Senior Project Officer APS6

Our client a leading government agency is seeking a short term contractor to update intranet pages, specifically delivering a master list of published resources, archiving old resources and building capability in existing team members to manage intranet publication and archiving. The role may extend to other ICT related updates and audits for guidance material.

The Planning Support Branch, is dedicated to the consultation, design, development, testing, delivery and evaluation of all Planning Support resources, with the aim of ensuring all resources enable staff to deliver a quality planning experience.

To be successful in this role you will have a high level of skill and knowledge of systems and Information Technology (including knowledge of SharePoint) . You will demonstrate the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, and exemplary behaviors in line with the agency’s values.

The position can be based in either Geelong, the Hourly rate is $51.50 per hour plus super with anticipated contract end date on the 4th November 2019 with the possibility of extension 

Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Liaising with key Planning Support Branch staff to confirm the current master list of all published Planning Support Excellence Resources and Operational Guidelines.
  • Ensuring all old Resources are correctly archived and are no longer able to be retrieved by staff, or the general public, through intranet or internet searches.
  • Working with online communications team to finalise the audit of the Operational Guidelines to ensure the administrative and minor content changes arising from the Agency’s move to a new intranet page is completed. 
  • Preparing step by step guidance/process material to enable Planning Excellence and Agency staff to correctly store and archive resources moving forward and delivery of a short information session to report the outcome of the project and step staff through the use of the guidance material.
