Senior Provider Engagement Officer - Brisbane

Ignite is seeking a Senior Provider Engagement Officer for Brisbane to support and assist our client – a major National Government Department and Scheme which partners in the Task-Force delivery of high performing, high integrity, trusted national project dealings.

The Senior Provider Engagement Officer will be required to undertake regular travel to engage with providers located anywhere in Queensland.

Additionally, your position is within the Provider and Market Engagement Branch and you will have proven relationship management and engagement experience, communication, organisational and management skills.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with the planning of provider engagement to enhance local capabilities for participation in the Scheme
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including state and local governments, providers, carers, people with disability and mainstream organisations to identify, analyse and resolve local transition challenges
  • Assist with managing risks associated with stakeholder relationships through a proactive approach
  • Identify needs of providers relating to provider policy changes, rules and processes
  • Assist design practices and resources to effectively implement the client’s provider engagement strategy
  • Perform basic research monitoring the effectiveness of capacity building activities and training for provider engagement staff
  • Prepare draft replies to ministerial and parliamentary correspondence, briefs etc

Must have:
