Service Manager

Our client is looking for a Service Manager who can run the day to day functions of their well-established NSW state branch.

Looking for someone that has a background and an understanding of electrical & combustion fields with B-type gas appliance experience.

The role is for a company that designs, manufactures and services heat processing systems in the manufacturing industry. All furnaces are designed and built to Australian standards, including robust and durable body construction, quality insulation, heat uniformity, electronic control system and high-performance burners.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing a small team of technical staff and an administrator with the successful delivery of each job through allocating work, planning, scheduling and purchasing.
  • Developing and managing key business opportunities with new and existing clients, upgrades, maintenance & repairs, spare parts and service agreements.
  • Managing the budget and profitability of the branch.
  • Maintain all OH&S and ensuring all QA standards are met.
Skills:
  • Engineering degree or Electrical Trade (A grade) qualifications
  • Ideally a background in technical sales with an understanding of electrical and combustion fields.
  • B-type gas appliance experience
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to communication on all levels.
