About the role
With numerous projects currently in train and due to commence shortly your extensive traffic management experience will be put to good use with your role involving:
  • Provision of accurate and efficient traffic engineering advice in accordance with project guidelines
  • Prepare traffic management plans
  • Development of innovative approaches to mitigate traffic impacts
  • Project management ensuring key deliverables are met for clients
  • Provide support with design, modelling and planning solutions
  • Preparation of technical reports and documentation for review
  • Application of Australian standards and guidelines to the design and compliance of traffic infrastructure
  • Liaison and consultation with local authorities and key stakeholders
Skills & experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering with proven experience in design interpretation, supervision, project management and report writing
  • Long term solid experience in traffic engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and managing team outputs
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to develop strong long term relationships with clients
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal relating to a diverse audience
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience with AIMSUN and working with the ACT Government highly regarded
  • Current C class manual drivers licence
