Workforce Planning Officer - APS5

Position Purpose 

Sitting within the People & Culture Team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining an agile Labour Hire workforce. 
As a Workforce Planner, you will be responsible for workforce sourcing which includes procurement, on-boarding and financial management of external resources.


Under general direction, your duties would include but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring Labour Hire workers are engaged through agreed procurement channels 
  • Development of procurement documentation
  • Raise contracts and purchase orders
  • Maintain a shared database 
  • Respond to enquiries as an SME 
  • Manage onboarding of successful candidates 
  • Maintain and build a Labour Hire workforce
  • Maintain internal & external relationships
Skills and Personal Attributes
  • Demonstrated experience in high volume staff procurement requests and workforce planning 
  • Ideally you will come from a high volume recruitment or labour hire workforce planning background
  • Understanding of recruitment and procurement
  • Strong understanding of MS Office Suite
  • Previous experience in utilising HRIS systems 
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders

  • Work locally and avoid the long CBD commute - Geelong Location
  • One-year contract with likelihood of extension
