About the Opportunity
This is a superb and genuine part-time role with flexible hours over 5 days per week reporting to the Shared Services Finance Leader and join the Finance team. The purpose of this role is to manage the accounts payable function for the Australian operations, process vendor invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Inclusive of all aspects of vendor management, analysis of expenditure, and payables month end reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Entering all invoices into the accounting system
  • Organise and obtain appropriate approval of all invoices and payments
  • Process payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provide timely, concise and accurate vendor reconciliations
  • Processing intercompany payments where applicable
  • Vendor management - maintain good supplier relationships and manage queries from all suppliers in a professional manner
  • Analysis of expenditure as requested
  • Provide information to assist with annual and half year audits
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management and the business units in the administration of the accounts payable function
  • Manage external tax and other corporate relationships
Key Competencies
  • Experience with Navision - desirable not essential
  • Be capable of hitting the ground running
  • Processing of invoices and payments accurately and within specific time-frames.
  • Expense claim processing and administration
  • Month end Accounts Payable 
  • Excel and reconciliation skills
