Duties will include:

  • Provide end-user troubleshooting and support for client staff to include desktop, laptop, applications, and operations.
  • System Maintenance - Perform general system maintenance of hardware, servers, operating systems, applications, patches and vulnerability management as directed.
  • Provide end-user troubleshooting and support for client staff on network and desktop printers.
  • Ensure all tickets are documented with current status, customer communications and full description of the problem/resolution daily
  • Provide updates to the customer regarding the problem's status when the projected completion time for problem resolution changes or if the customer requests status
  • Adhere to official Client/OIT Property Management procedures for all equipment installs, moves, loans or accessing as defined by the Government
  • Work as part of a team and independently
  • Review, maintain and enforce approved procedures and quality standards

· Providing subject matter expertise using a coaching and mentoring approach, advising on the most appropriate supports to achieve participant outcomes and complex decision making according to the 2013 Act;

· Brokering solutions and supporting regional delegates with advice where more complex or disability specific responses are required.

· Liaising and working cooperatively with stakeholders including internal and external planners and disability delegates to ensure consistent decision making and outcome achievement.

· Contribution to policy and operational guidelines required to maximise Agency performance;

· Supporting regional delegates to undertake plan reviews (internal and AAT)

· Independent research identifying best practice in your area of expertise, preparation of Agency position papers and recommendations in your specialist area.

· Ensuring high quality written advice and record keeping, including competency with IT systems.

· Promoting a supportive and positive working environment;
