APS 5 Sourcing Officers

We are hiring a Sourcing/Recruitment Officer for a Federal government client.

The APS 5 Sourcing Officer will be responsible for workforce sourcing, which includes procurement, on-boarding and financial management of external resources (Labour Hire Workers) across the organisation.


Location: Geelong
Duration: 12 Months + Possible extension  

Duties
  • Ensure that Labour Hire Workers are engaged
  • Development of procurement documentation
  • Collate candidate packages for assessment by the requesting business area
  • Raise contracts and purchase orders
  • Maintain a shared database
  • Respond to enquiries as an SME
  • Review all documentation received for accuracy and completeness
  • Manage the timely on-boarding of successful candidates
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders
  • Maintain internal relationships, as well as with external stakeholders
  • Other duties and projects as requested.
Skills

Desirable
  • Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems.
  • Understanding of procurement processes.
  • It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding or lived experience of disability.
Required
  • Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests.
