APS4 Performance Reporting Officer

The Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch is the central point of coordination for this Federal Government Agency’s handling and resolution of reviews and complaints. Working directly with participants, providers, internal staff and external agencies, the branch aims to manage and resolve reviews and complaints in a timely manner.
 
The Performance Reporting team provides data, information, reports, insights and analytics to support, monitor and evaluate the experience of stakeholders who interact with the Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch.
 
The APS4 Performance Reporting Officer will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to the Agency’s objectives. The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in data and enquiry management areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Undertaking data analysis and reporting including interpreting data, analysing results, using basic statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases and datasets on regional performance
  • Working with the Internal Review Manager and Complaints team to provide a coordinated response to requests for internal reviews and complaints
  • Monitoring and tracking requests for review, outcomes, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Manipulating and presenting data to contribute to the development of reports.
