APS5 Freedom of Information Officer

Our client, a key Social Policy agency is seeking an APS5 Freedom of Information Officer to assist in coordinating freedom of information requests and ensuring the agency adheres to relevant policies and regulations.
 
This contract is initially for 12 months with a possible extension.

Your duties will include:
  • Preparing and collating documents in accordance with regulations and policies for complex cases
  • Supporting, guiding, and training the team
  • Producing internal and external correspondence and formal decision letters
  • Contributing to the improvement of pre-existing processes and practices
 
To be successful you will have the following:
  • Experience in operational and administrative roles, particularly those which surround freedom of information and participant information access requests
  • Experience overseeing and managing a team
  • Competency using Microsoft office software and online databases
