APS5 Grants Officer

Our client is seeking an APS5 Grants Officer to undertake grant application assessments, eligibility checks and contract management. This role will also include engaging with a wide range of businesses, stakeholders and industry sectors.  

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assessing eligibility and/or merit of applications for programme support, in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines, and justify recommendations with appropriate evidence
  • Managing contracts and programme compliance in accordance with legislation and guidelines
  • Contributing to marketing and promotion of business assistance programme
  • Data management and analysis
To be considered you must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Relevant qualifications e.g. accounting/finance, law, science or business
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced IT and data management skills, for example ability to write macros
  • Knowledge of or experience in business
  • Prior experience in government program delivery
  • Financial analysis
  • Public presentation skills and experience
A minimum Baseline security clearance is highly regarded.
