APS6/EL1 Program and Administration Support Officer

We are seeking an APS6/EL1 Program and Administration Support Officer to work within a large federal agency who is responsible for strategic and policy leadership regarding communications technology investments and digital service delivery. In this role you will provide general administrative support and assist with secretariat support.
The contract is initially for 12 months with two possible 6-month extensions
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting and supporting program management by providing administrative and secretariat functions
  • Reviewing and maintaining program reporting arrangements including providing input to ministerial and executive briefings
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on program matters
  • Providing ongoing program and policy support and facilitating connections with departmental staff and other agencies
To be successful in this role you should possess the following:
  • Excellent written and oral communication, administrative, secretariat, program/projects management and leadership skills with a strong sense of adaptability
  • Experience maintaining program/project artefacts and providing administrative and secretariat support at a high level, particularly in the public sector
  • Australian citizenship
