APS6 Change Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled APS6 Change Management Officer. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of, and management of change, supporting the effective delivery of organisational and business change, procedural improvement, and reporting. This role is crucial in supporting the objectives and outcomes of the department.
This is a 12-month contract role and has a possibility of extension.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure that the work of the change programme, including the scope of each change, covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the outcomes that will lead to operational benefits
  • Working with the business to identify change/projects that will contribute to realising benefits and achieving outcomes
  • Obtaining assurance that the delivery of new capability is compatible with the realisation of benefits, strategy and the cooperate plan.
To be successful in this position you should possess the following:
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain clearance at Baseline level
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Project Support Officer (preferably in the APS context)
  • Understanding of risk management principles and associated methodologies
