The Role
With exceptional people doing an exceptional job at Ignite, we are looking to grow our teams to meet the increasing demand for talented IT professionals in the Melbourne market. We are looking for a full time Senior Recruitment Consultant to specialise in IT & Digital roles. You will be working to fill roles alongside an inspired team who have strong relationships with some of Australia’s largest commercial and government departments.

  • Determine appropriate sourcing methods to maximise expenditure and reduce time to hire.
  • Build an accurate candidate profile, become a subject matter expert, to drive an effective sourcing strategy.
  • Locate, attract and retain skilled candidates through proactive recruiting and engagement techniques including using personal networks to locate and refer prospective candidates as well as social media and traditional job boards.
  • Partner with both candidates and Hiring Managers during the decision-making process, resolving concerns and managing objections promptly.
  • Utilise and source platforms as well as traditional business systems to identify active and passive talent.
  • Develop effective internal and external relationships to facilitate and share market knowledge
  • Stay abreast of emerging roles and opportunities with current clients and targeted industry sectors.
Your experience will include:
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills with a strong customer service orientation in either recruitment or sales related roles.
  • Highly proactive and self-motivated to achieve and exceed agreed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills including time management and record management.
  • The drive and passion to contribute towards building a high performance culture
