Administrative Officer - Geelong

The Admin Officer will take an active role in ensuring the smooth operation of the mail system and associated administration tasks.  In this varied role you will be involved in day-to-day tasks that will support staff to deliver exemplary customer service.

This key role will be responsible for ensuring delivery of all mail functions, meet the objectives of the Corporate Business Plan. Your team will provide highly engaged back of house activities meeting the broad range of needs of internal staff.

Duties
  • Processing electronic mail
  • Maintain and clear outstanding items
  • Processing invoices
  • Accepting courier deliveries and distribution
  • Additional duties as directed.

Desirable
  • It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability
  • Experience managing business support teams in a complex environment
  • Highly developed skills in a range of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using government business systems.
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
