6-month Contract Role

At high level Administrative Support Officer role involves undertaking a range of legal administration activities. Working under supervision, you will liaise with staff to provide case administration activities, witness co-ordination, case preparation, case liaison.
 
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Creation and administration of CRIMS case files, photocopying, filing, data entry, meeting administration, records management (including archiving).
  • Drafting summons/subpoenas, liaison (providing updates) and other related tasks (travel and conferences).
  • Preparing materials, lodging/filing documentation, conducting basic research activities, video conferencing, interpreters and translators.
  • Liaising with Federal Prosecutors, external agencies and counsel.
  
To be considered for this role you need:
 
  • To be able to utilise a range of administrative, legal and practice management systems to complete tasks.
  • To know how to build rapport, maintain internal and external relationships, and undertake appropriate learning and development activities as required.
  • To be good at using computer-based applications and draft basic workplace documents e.g. emails, documents and other correspondence.
  • To Have a sound knowledge of the procedures and guidelines relevant to the work area.
  • To present information clearly both orally and in writing.
 
To apply for the role you must be an Australian Citizen and will be required to complete a minimum Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
