Branch Manager

We are working with our client, an Australian customer-owned bank, to engage an experienced Branch Manager/Senior Relationship Manager on full-time, permanent basis. 

The position will report to the Regional Manager and to effectively lead and manage the day to day operations of the branch team.

Key duties:
  • Proactively assist customers to identify short, medium, long term needs and aspirations
  • Provide timely advice on our range of financial products and services, offer solutions that meet customers’ needs and are relevant to their life stage goals
  • Encourages the team to build relationships with both the internal and external customers 
  • Drive achievement of sales targets at individual and group level through regular monitoring and coaching conversation
  • Works with Regional Manager to support the day to day operations of the team including ensuring individuals and the team are aware of performance targets, manages operational issues as a first point of call – sick leave, short term leave, e-learning completion etc. 
Required skills and experience:
  • Experience working in a similar role such as banking, customer service and/or management experience 
  • Strong leadership, and training skills
