Business Development Manager - HVAC

Our client is an award-winning provider of air conditioning solutions to the Australian market with a worldwide presence and excellent reputation within the HVAC industry. At present they are experiencing a strong growth trajectory and are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who is keen to progress and strive for excellence and be able to add to their excellent culture.   

Reporting to the Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Effectively plan, manage and develop commercial air conditioning project opportunities to achieve agreed sales budgets. 
  • Review, check and enter sales orders
  • Maintain new and existing customer relationships
  • Build customer loyalty and maximise volume, revenue and profit through the sales from existing and new accounts 
  • Providing internal support to the team to provide quality outcomes 
  • Prepare tender submissions
Applicants must have:
  • Must have 2-3 years experience in Business Development within HVAC Market
  • Must have experience within a productive sales environment
  • Air-conditioning and HVAC knowledge
  • Understanding of VRF & Commercial product range specified with mechanical contractors, consultants and end users.
  • Ability to successfully identify new business, demonstrate your product knowledge and close the sale effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Must understand current market and use current networks to implement business strategies
You will be organised and structured, enjoying breaking into target accounts that you will then successfully manage.
