The Role
With exceptional people doing an exceptional job at Ignite, we are looking to build our On Demand team to meet the rapidly increasing market demand. This position is a full time (with work/life flexibility), CBD based role reporting directly to the General Manager.
Our Business Development Managers seek out new opportunities within an increasingly demanding IT space. You will develop relationships with new corporations to service their internal needs and develop opportunities to provide resources for services they provide to their end clients.
Ideally, you are a Business Development Manager with the drive and capability to impact to the team positively and energetically. You will also have the desire to work with, and contribute to, a team of individuals looking to outperform our market competitors.
 
Requirements of the role include:
  • To identify and develop sound business relationships with senior level executives in client/prospect organisations.
  • Research territory/client base and develop strategies to achieve agreed KPI’s
  • Set and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure all commercial/contractual issues/requests are actioned efficiently
  • Ensure all support/service requests are followed up by appropriate team members efficiently
  • Effectively promote the full range of services for the On-Demand business

Skills and Experience
  • A demonstrated capability of strategic selling, being able to modify techniques and bring about pipeline success.
  • Relationship development skills and experience in dealing with the senior management of client organisations.
  • Researching, planning and forecasting market trends, and applying the analysed data into effective business opportunities.
  • Considerable experience and demonstrated ability in a sales role both new and organic.
  • Sales pipeline management experience.
  • Driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of IT Systems Integration with a background in Project and Outsourcing Services desirable;
  • Proven success in account and territory planning
  • Proven statements to achievement of financial targets and KPI’s aligned to the business strategy
