Business Support Officer

Your new role will include:
  • Providing administrative support to the team.
  • Managing various communication correspondence including phones, email and front of house support.
  • Coordinating appointments with the wider team.
  • Undertake research and prepare associated reports.
  • Provide thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise office travel and fleet management requirements.
  • Coordinate and organise executive meetings and community forums where necessary.
  • Accurately enter a range of data entry responsibilities.
 
Skills and attributes:
  • Understand how to work collaboratively with a network to support the delivery of consistent, quality client service.
  • Oral and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with flexibility within a team and to communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure the smooth, efficient and on time operations.
  • Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software specifically with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for the disability or health sector.
  • Government experience is ideal but not necessary.
 
Successful candidates must undergo a National Police Check. Due to the background checks being conducted, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
