Change Manager

Ignite is working with a Federal government client who are undertaking a broad reaching program of exciting client-focused organisational, cultural and technology change.

You will work with the People Change Management team to support key cultural and digital change initiatives across the organisation, that may have significant internal and or external impacts. You will have experience at least one of these specialisations – transformation projects, organisational shifts, digital transformation, maturity in change management.

To be successful in this role, you will have skills and experience in the duties listed below.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage change management strategies and plans that ensure people are ready for change.
  • Deliver change in-line with the Change Management Framework and Project Execution Framework and Methodology, as applicable.
  • Ensure change readiness among stakeholders and users
  • Identify people-side risks and develop plans to mitigate these risks
  • Influencing project team members and stakeholders as required
  • Mentoring and coaching and more defined capability development across the organisation.
You will be required to travel to other office locations, either locally or interstate, on an as-needs basis.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 10+ years’ experience and knowledge of applying change management principles and methodologies
  • Proven experience in driving large organisation-wide change efforts and cultural shifts.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and applying change management
  • Change Management Practitioner Certification would be well regarded
