Change Manager - EL2

Ignite are working with a large federal government department who are seeking a Change Manager - EL2 level since they are currently undergoing change which impacts a wide range of stakeholders. You will report to the Change lead and will be allocated portfolios and projects to manage with the Program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identification and analysis of stakeholders likely to be impacted by change
  • Determine the scope and impacts of business change
  • Assess business readiness and facilitate business readiness
  • Provide change support through activities including; communications, training and development and leadership support

Required Skills and experience:
  • Experience in planning and conducting workplace or organisational change for service delivery in a large or complex organisation
  • Experience in facilitating change planning; including stakeholder identification, business impact analysis, change management planning and reporting
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Flexibility to work in complex, dynamic environments
  • Competency with IT systems

Desirable Skills:
  • Formal training and qualifications in workplace and organisational change (Prosci or similar)
  • Experience planning and leading change in a public sector environment
  • Training and/or experience in customer focussed techniques and work practices
