Civil Draftsperson - Microstation

Our client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Civil Draftsperson with Microstation proficiency to start initially on a 6 month contract.
Our client offers training in the latest technologies and software such as Scanning, Pointclouds, Pointools, Cloudworx, etc.
Whilst the initial engagement is on a six monthly basis, this role is expected to be on-going and may suit someone looking for a longer term engagement.
You will be responsible for:
  • Civil/Survey Infrastructure database maintenance with a strong focus on Civil Underground Services at Sydney Airport.
  • Monitor & document changes to Airport Assets & Infrastructure from the development and construction process, Designs, As Built Drawings, Work-AS-Executed Surveys, on-site investigations and the use of available spatial technologies.
  • Assist with the updating the civil asset & infrastructure drawing products & disseminate to Business units 
Ideally you will have:
  • Excellent Microstation experience and skills.
  • A strong customer-focus and a willingness to work within and contribute to the team outcomes is essential.
  • Have had exposure to 3D – desirable.
  • Completed a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Knowledge & demonstrated drafting experience in documentation & presentation of - Underground services infrastructure or - Engineering survey & real property and ideally knowledge of Building services (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulics etc)
  • Be willing to get out of the office and conduct on-site checks & measurements.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Australian codes and standards.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet demanding deadlines at times.
  • Must be able to undergo police security checks & pass Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Must be self-motivated, and have a flexible and proactive approach.
