Co-Location Specialist

Our client is currently recruiting a Co-Location Specialist which will be based in 2 locations – Ultimo and Olympic Park.
Reporting to the Co-Location Lead, the Co-Location Specialist is accountable to deliver the volume of service activation's in line with the corporate annual operating plan, delivery of a great customer experience through the performance of the various Delivery Workforces who performs the activation's and assurance work (HFC, Fibre & Copper). Accountable technologies may expand to include Wireless and Satellite, or development of new technologies within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • On The Day work order risk management. Drive Delivery Workforce performance through the use of on the day monitoring of field activities to identify Work Orders in jeopardy and identify and carry out mitigation steps.
  • Deliver on the day Delivery Workforce performance of activation and assurance orders and incidents
  • Monitor and manage cycle times. Driving work & customer orders through to a terminal state on the day through Delivery Workforce and Internal resolvers.
  • Promote and drive compliance with Quality & On boarding with the specific Delivery Workforce at a national level
  • Identify and drive opportunities via use of the On The Day workflow team.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements to achieve Operational Excellence with the specific Delivery Workforce
  • Support of activities through field operational hours
Experience Required:
  • Knowledge & Experience e.g. qualifications or indicative years of experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in telecommunications driving performance outcomes through a contracted field workforce
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a contracted workforce supporting continuous improvement by our teams and service partners
  • 1-3 years’ experience in driving a quality approach across a contracted field workforce
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an outcomes based contract environment supporting operational targets
  • Stakeholder management experience for both customers and suppliers internally and externally
Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of performance management methods, processes and tools including performance management and improving operational performance
  • Technical understanding of field force work management systems
  • Good communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Background in reporting and analytics
